We had a great afternoon with Helena Foulkes talking about Transportation in Rhode Island and all the opportunity there is to lean into a system that can save working people money while growing the economy and helping our climate crisis. There to help to connect the dots were Patricia Raub of the RI Transit Riders, Peter Brassard of the RI Association of Railroad Passengers and John Flaherty of Grow Smart RI. We took the electric R-Line bus from Providence to the Pawtucket/CF Transit Center, which took about 19 minutes. After coffee at Harvest Kitchen, we took the train back which took us only 5 minutes and 34 seconds!
